Wisconsin Law School Hosted Texas Young Lawyers Regional Mock Trial Competition
Wisconsin Law School mock trial program successfully hosted the prestigious Texas Young Lawyers Regional Mock trial Competition on February 19-21, 2016 at the Dane County Courthouse. Twenty-four teams from around the Midwest competed for the opportunity to compete in the national competition. Over 100 judges and 200 witnesses participated in the three-day event that took place at the Dane County courthouse.
Each year, Mock Trial members either compete or participate as
alternates in one of several competitions. Competitions encompass a
variety of legal topics; however, expertise in specialized fields is not
required. Wisconsin has entered the following competitions for 2015-2016.
- November 7-10 - Buffalo-Niagara Mock Trial Competition
- February 26-28 - Florida State University Mock Trial Competition
- March 24-26 - John Marshall Law School National Criminal Justice Competition.
- American Association for Justice National Mock Trial Competition
- Texas Young Lawyers National Mock Trial Competition
Approach the Bench

Approach the Bench is informal gathering for law students interested in learning more about mock trial. Our second Approach the Bench of the semester will take place at Vintage on November 18th at 8:00 p.m.
