Harvey Wendel '63 was honored by the Dane County Bar Association as the first recipient of an award in his name. The Harvey L. Wendel Service Award is “given to a member of the Dane County Bar Association who has demonstrated exemplary service to the legal profession and community.”
Robert L. Habush '61, of Habush Habush & Rottier S.C., was awarded the “Lifetime Achievement Award” by the Milwaukee Bar Association (MBA). The award is presented to the lawyer whose career achievements in both the practice of law and community service demonstrate a consistent level of excellence.
Jon Axelrod '68, of DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C.,was elected president of The Fellows of the Wisconsin Law Foundation.
Richard G. Baumann '64, of SulmeyerKupetz in Los Angeles, was chosen as one of Southern California "Super Lawyers" in 2013.

John S. Skilton '69, managing partner of Perkins Coie LLP’s Madison office, was elected by the American Bar Association House of Delegates to the ABA’s Board of Governors for a three-year term.

Richard G. Baumann ’64, a Southern California “Super Lawyer” for 2009, practices with Sulmeyer Kupetz in Los Angeles and has written and lectured extensively on the issue of Creditors’ Rights and Commercial Collections.
R. Thomas Howell Jr. ’67 was named Interim Executive Director of the American Bar Association. Previously Howell served as General Counsel of the
