Sarah Helvey '04 was honored as one of 2012 Ten Outstanding Young Omahans Award recipients for her strong commitment to both community service and personal and professional development. She is Staff Attorney and Director of the Child Welfare Program at Nebraska Appleseed, a non-profit organization that fights for justice and opportunity for all Nebraskans.

Daniel A. O'Callaghan '05, of Michael, Best and Friedrich, was recognized as an 'Up and Coming Lawyer' by the Wisconsin Law Journal at their annual event in Milwaukee. Additionally, he serves on the Boards of the Urban League of Greater Madison and the Dane County Housing Authority.

Doug Dallmann '07 accepted a position with Intel Corp as a patent portfolio manager in Hillsboro, Oregon. Additionally, Dallmann, a cancer survivor, was featured in the 2013 Colondar, a project put on by The Colon Club that features young survivors of colorectal cancer.
Dan O'Donnell '06, a news anchor and talk show host at Newsradio 620 WTMJ in Milwaukee, won the prestigious 2012 National Edward R. Murrow Award for Sports Reporting. This is Dan's second National Murrow Award, having previously won in 2008 for Investigative Reporting.

Eric T. Kasper '07, was recently granted tenure and promoted to associate professor by the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents. Kasper teaches political science at UW-Barron County and also serves as the municipal judge for the City of Rice Lake, Wisconsin.

Thomas McCormick ‘02 of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease Columbus has been named a 2012 Ohio Super Lawyers Business Litigation Rising Star, by Super Lawyers Magazine. McCormick has a broad trial practice with a specific focus on complex commercial litigation and employment disputes.
Jeff Goldman ’02 was recently promoted to partner at DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C.effective January 1, 2012. Goldman has been with the firm since 2006. Goldman practices in the firm’s Trust & Estates and Litigation Practice Groups and focuses on estate planning, probate, trust administration and trust, estate and fiduciary litigation.
