Course Description

L&CP (Lincoln and the Law)   (2 credits) 


This seminar examines Abraham Lincoln’s law practice,
selected legal issues in his political career and presidency and how his
legal experience affected his communications, rhetoric and leadership
style.    Grades are based on three topical writing assignments
(one of which involves  a well-prepared oral presentation) and active
class participation.   Enrollment is limited and only with the
instructors consent.  Interested students
