Along with the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Marquette University Law School, and the State Bar of Wisconsin, the UW Law School's Frank J. Remington Center co-sponsors the Wisconsin Criminal Justice Study Commission (WCJSC). The Commission consists of well-respected criminal justice professionals from throughout the system, including police, defense attorneys, prosecutors, academics, and victim's advocates, along with community leaders from outside the system. The Commission's purpose is to help the criminal justice system accomplish its fundamental mission of convicting the guilty, and not the innocent. For more information on the Commission, visit its website at http://www.wcjsc.org, or contact the Commission's staff attorney, Byron Lichstein, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 608-265-2741.
As we move forward, you can help. Though we do not charge for our services, we welcome contributions to the Center. Please join the mission by contributing!
