The University of Wisconsin Law School's Graduate Programs offers three degree programs for those who already have a first law degree (J.D., LL.B., or comparable degree from a university outside the United States).

Our degree programs:

The University of Wisconsin Law School's Graduate Programs offers two fellowship programs; the William H. Hastie Fellowship Program and the Law and Society Fellowship.

Our fellowship programs:

  • William H. Hastie Fellowship Programan LL.M. degree program that provides an opportunity for lawyers of color to prepare for a career in law teaching.
  • Law and Society Fellowship, for scholars who are in the early (pre-tenure) stage of their career.  Eligibility is limited to humanities or social science scholars who work in the "Law and Society" tradition and plan to compete for a university teaching position in the U.S. market.
