Health Law Project

The Health Law Project focuses on health law, policy and administration with a multidisciplinary, international approach. It is under the direction of Professor Louise G. Trubek Emerita. Professor Trubek also has appointments as Public Health Program Faculty and Faculty Affiliate, La Follette School of Public Affairs.

Professor Trubek is principal investigator of the “ Initiative on Governance and Health System Change” Professor Tom Oliver, Associate Professor, UW School of   Medicine and Public Health  (SMPH) serves as co-principal investigator. The Initiative, funded in part by the European Union Center for Excellence, plans on presenting major conferences in 2009 and 2010 on health quality and health disparities. Scholars from the United States and the European Union will participate. The Initiative will coordinate a cross-campus working group on health policy.
