Legal Research & Writing

Smaller classes, more feedback

The Law School's first-year research and writing sections are very small (between 11 and 15 students) to promote individualized learning. Teachers use a hands-on learning approach and students complete short writing assignments early in the course, providing an opportunity for feedback earlier and more frequently.

The Law School also offers separate individualized instruction through the Individualized Instruction Service. This is available to all who want or need it, throughout their law school careers. More about the Individualized Instruction Service.
