Dear Law School Students,

As you prepare for the end of the semester, I would like to make you aware of an opportunity to enhance your Law studies by pursuing the JD-MPH (Master of Public Health) dual degree. The legal aspects of public health are significant, and there is a growing need for professionals trained in both law and public health. The shared credits between the two programs enable students to complete both degrees in four years; the MPH program accepts 12 credits from the Law School, and the Law School accepts 15 credits from the MPH program.

The MPH application is currently open on the MPH website and the deadline to apply for fall 2015 is February 1, 2015. Law School students are waived from the standardized test score, application fee, and transcript requirement. Attached is a flyer with detailed information on the JD-MPH dual degree. If you would like to find out more, please email Lisa Allman, MPH Student Services Coordinator, at lallman@wisc.edu.

Sincerely,
Lisa Allman
