The Wisconsin Innocence Project was featured last week on "Forward Motion," a television news magazine that spotlights innovative teaching and research at UW-Madison.

Based at UW Law School, the Wisconsin Innocence Project works to overturn wrongful convictions, while providing clinical training to students interested in pursuing criminal law. Over the years students and faculty have worked together to exonerate 16 wrongly convicted people, including Christopher Ochoa. Ochoa—who is profiled in the "Forward Motion" segment—later received his J.D. from the Law School.
