UW Law School's Restorative Justice Project featured in two-part TV series

The UW Law School’s Restorative Justice Project was featured on WKOW-TV, Channel 27 in Madison, in a two-part series profiling client Jackie Millar, who forgave the young man who shot her and left her for dead in November 1995. With a 2 percent chance to live, Millar survived, formed a close bond with the now-incarcerated man who almost ended her life, and works with teenagers on a mission to deter future crimes..

Part One of the series, which was broadcast on November 1, 2009, can be viewed as an article and video here.

Part Two was broadcast on Wednesday, November 4, at 10 p.m. It  focused on Millar’s ongoing work talking to teens, and can be viewed here.

The Restorative Justice Project, directed by Clinical Associate Professor Pete DeWind, is a program of the UW Law School’s Frank J. Remington Center.
