The Institute for Legal Studies presents the Law & Society Speaker Series on Race & Justice. All sessions will take place at noon in Lubar Commons, and lunch will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is not required.

L. Song Richardson, Professor of Law, University of California-Irvine School of Law, will present "Police Racial Violence: Lessons from Social Psychology" on Wednesday, Sept. 9.  Visit hosted by Tonya Brito.

Professor Richardson’s research examines lessons from social psychology to study criminal procedure, criminal law and policing. Currently, she is working on a book that examines the legal and moral implications of mind sciences research on policing and criminal procedure.
