The Middle Eastern Law Students Association and the Global Legal Studies Center present a talk by James Suzano, "Bahrain: The Reign of Repression."

Suzano is the acting director of Advocacy and Legal Affairs at Americans for Democracy and Human Rights in Bahrain in Washington, D.C. He received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law, where he focused on international human rights, refugee and asylum law. In his presentation, he will offer an overview of the human rights situation in Bahrain since the start of the pro-democracy movement in 2011 and after the Saudi military intervention.
