If people are interested, WILS also is prepared to show a film, following the meeting, related to an upcoming lecture by Ishmael Beah.
Information for the lecture is as follows.

Ishmael Beah (December 8, 2008): Beah is a former child soldier, and the author of the memoir, A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier. In 1991, a vicious civil war overtook Sierra Leone. He claims that at the age of 13, he was pressed into service as a child soldier. According to Beah's account, he fought for almost three years before being rescued by UNICEF.  A Long Way Gone ranks about the most stirring and politically-relevant memoirs of recent years.
