Once again, a study finds that Wisconsin has the nation's highest rate of drunken driving. And once again, Wisconsin Public Radio looks to the UW Law School's Nina Emerson '92 for expert commentary.

Emerson, the Director of the Resource Center on Impaired Driving, was a guest recently on the Joy Cardin Show, where the topic was a new report by the National Survey on Drug Use and Health. The survey asked persons 12 and older whether they have driven a vehicle under the influence of alcohol of drugs in the past year.

Wisconsin had the highest rate of positive responses, with more than 23 percent reporting that they had driven under the influence of alcohol in the past year. The full survey is available here.
