The Kane County Bar Foundation will be awarding at least two $1,500 scholarships to deserving Kane, DeKalb or Kendall County resident law students.

Deserving law students include those whose permanent address, and the permanent address of at least one of their parent/guardians is in the 16th Judicial Circuit (Kane, Kendall, DeKalb counties). Although the Foundation may take into consideration whether the applying individual intends to practice law in the 16th Judicial Circuit, this is not a requirement for eligibility.  The Honorable Patrick Dixon Scholarship will also be awarded.  The eligibility requirements for this scholarship are the same, with additional consideration consideration of demonstrated financial need.
