Open to UW-Madison full-time students (Freshmen to Ph.D. students) Application Deadline: Feb. 5, 2007 The Center for East Asian Studies will award one scholarship from the Matsudaira Fund that covers ALL attendance expenses (food, lodging and group travel) to the 2007 Japan-America Student Conference (JASC) in Tokyo, Akita, Hiroshima and Kyoto from July 22 to August 20, 2007. The JASC is an educational and cultural exchange program for university students (from freshmen to Ph.D. candidates) from the United States and Japan .
