Welcome back to the law library!  We hope that you had a great summer.  Now that the rush of orientation is over, listed below are a few reminders of the great resources available to you at the law library.

Reminder one:

Get your gargoyle sticker!  If you haven't picked up a gargoyle sticker from the Circulation Desk yet, bring your WiscCard to the Circulation Desk on the 5th floor of the Law Library and ask for a gargoyle sticker.  This sticker will be your ticket into the law library during restricted access period.

Reminder two:

Browse the Law Library's home page; to locate a book from the UW catalog, make a study room reservation, Chat with a librarian, or find links to one of the top 10 legal databases available to you.

Reminder three:

If you have a question or need help, Ask a librarian! The Reference Desk is staffed from 9 am - 9 pm Monday through Thursday, 9 - 5 on Friday, and 1 -5 on the weekend.  If you can't find a book on the shelf, need help developing a research strategy or would like to find a copy of an article online, visit the desk, send us an email, or use our Chat Service to speak with a librarian.

Reminder four:

Course Reserves are available behind the Circulation Desk, and scanning is free!  The scanners are located in the Copy Center on the 5th floor of the Law Library & on the 3rd floor of the Law Library.

Wishing you a successful school year!
