Books Unbound is an online legal database.  The database consists of copies of the brown "bubble" binders published by the State Bar of Wisconsin.  They are authored by Wisconsin attorneys on legal topics and include Wisconsin forms.  For an example of print titles, see, Wisconsin Employment Law or the Wisconsin Judicial Benchbooks.  The print series is available behind the circulation desk. Access to Books Unbound is available to all law students if you register with the State Bar of Wisconsin.  Find information on how to register here.

Registration takes a few days

Access after registration is not instantaneous.  It will take a few days after you've registered to gain access to this database.  However, if you have not gained access after a few days, contact the State Bar of Wisconsin and ask them for help.

Wisconsin Pleadings & Practice

Another useful Wisconsin series, that is also available on Westlaw, is Wisconsin Pleadings and Practice. We have a copy in the reference collection located in the Habush Habush & Rottier Reading Room, althought the set is no longer kept up to date, as well as an up-to-date set behind the circulation desk.

Wisconsin Jury Instructions

The Wisconsin Jury Instructions are now available online through Fastcase.  The library also has two copies of the Wisconsin Jury Instructions in print.  One set behind the circulation desk and another in the Habush Habush & Rottier Reading Room.
