HeinOnline's Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals (IFLP) is a multilingual index to articles and book reviews appearing in hundreds of legal journals published worldwide.

IFLP can be used to research scholarship in international, foreign and comparative law often not available in other indexes and databases such as Lexis and Westlaw. Most foreign jurisdictions are covered dating back to 1985. (For a browseable list of covered jurisdictions, click here)

Searching on IFLP via HeinOnline is straightforward. One can search by various access points (e.g. author, title, keyword, etc.) both in English and in other languages.

If an article is published in a journal that is available on HeinOnline, the article title will appear as a direct link to the content in HeinOnline. Otherwise, check the university's online catalog to see if there is a copy available on campus. If not, the article can be requested via interlibrary loan.

For more detailed information on searching in IFLP, see HeinOnline's Quick Reference Guide.
