If you are looking for a resource for Chinese law in English, you may be in luck. The law library subscribes to Lawinfochina, one of the prominent databases offering access to Chinese legal information.
Coverage of legislation and regulations includes access to a vast number of laws, regulations, judicial interpretations and local rules, dating back to 1949. Judicial decisions are available selectively, and many of the cases in include editorially enhancements such as case background, facts, parties, commentary, and more.
In addition to legislation, regulations and judicial decisions, other features include access to gazettes--official government publications containing regulations, reports, speeches, circulars, and more; an Overview of the Chinese Legal System; legal news; the Law Yearbook of China, summarizing developments in Chinese law; White Papers (central government policy papers), and tax treaties between China and foreign governments.
