As you learn how to use Bluebook citations in your law classes, please be aware that there is a bootleg copy of the Bluebook being sold online.  The first thing you might notice about the fake copy is that the cover of your Bluebook is lighter than your neighbor's Bluebook.  The differences are subtle, but obvious once you know where to look.

For help discovering if your Bluebook is the real deal or a bootleg copy, see the blog post from the Brooklyn Law School on how to tell the real Bluebook from the bootleg copy.
