The Law Library invites you to help us celebrate National Library Week next week, April 2-6.

We've planned a full week of activities including displays, contests and workshops. Displays: - READ with the Faculty In what we hope is the first of an annual tradition, we've created READ posters featuring Law School faculty members with their favorite books. Join us in the Law Library (near the entrance) to view the posters featuring Asifa Quraishi, Gordon Smith, and Cheryl Weston. Photography by the Law School's own, Arthur McEvoy. - Meet the Library Staff Just who are those people that catalog the books, answer your reference questions, and deliver the documents to your desktop? Learn a bit about the library staff members who bring you these services every day. - Legal Humor Stop by the library for a few laughs. Cartoon and jokes will be on display.
Contests: Watch your email each day for a law or library-related contest question. Daily winners will each receive a prize. Choose from Westlaw Rewards points, mugs, bags, planners, CD & glasses cases, and much more. Open to all Law School students, faculty, and staff. At the end of the week, students with the most correct entries will be placed in a grand prize drawing for 1000 WestlawRewards points. Workshops: - Create Your Own Blog using Blogger Tuesday, April 4th at 1:30 p.m. in the Computer Lab Students: Start your own blog on-the-spot! Come prepared with a name for your new blog. - Sources of Business Information Wednesday, April 5th at 2:00 p.m. in rm 3380A (Third floor library) A must for corporate attorneys! - Legal Research Worldwide Friday, April 7th at 2:00 p.m. in rm 3380A (Third floor library) Online sources for international students and students studying abroad
