Join the Moot Court Board!

The Omar Megahed Competition

The Competition has Begun

But you can still get a packet!

Each fall, second-year students can compete in an intramural appellate advocacy competition in which competitors prepare and present oral arguments from facts and cases that are provided. Depending on the number of competitors, between two and four finalists are invited to join the Moot Court Board.  The winner of the Omar Megahed Competition competes in the competition of winner’s choice (1st pick!) in the 3L year.

Because there is no brief component, this method of joining the Moot Court Board has the lowest time commitment.  Stop by the Moot Court office to find out more!  The office is in Room 3246 and is open Monday 10am-12pm, Tuesday 11am-12pm and 1:30pm-2:30pm, Wednesday 11-12pm, Thursday 1pm-2pm, Friday 11am-12pm.

Thanks and good luck!
