The Black Law Student Association has elected rising 2L UW Law student Christian A. Conway president for 2016–17. She replaces outgoing Co- Presidents Qortney McLeod and Jasmine Trimble.

The newly elected executive board members for 2016–17 include:

 

Vice President - Reginald Thedford 

Treasurer - Nerrissa Dyett

Executive Board Committee- Betesida Zewdie, Casaundra Lucille 

Community Service Chairs- Ailani taylor, Jared Padway

Director of Education- Allysa Brown

Secretary- Jourdan Glenn

Directors of Communication- Casaundra Lucille, Ray Feliz

BLSA has put on amazing events and fundraisers this year such as:  The Housing Symposium, a Cultural Re-Education Lecture Series, Yoga Night with BLSA, The “ in the Mix” networking event, Fall and Spring REP ISPA and many more

The University of Wisconsin Black Law Students Association (UWBLSA) is a chartered member of the National Black Law Students Association (NBLSA), which exists to serve the educational, social and professional interests of Black law students across the country.
