Manitowoc County Future 15 winner: Kelly Wilfert

MANITOWOC - Young Professionals of Manitowoc County unveiled its "Future 15" award winners during its annual banquet Nov. 14 at Knox's Silver Valley Bar & Banquet Hall.

The "Future 15" are young professionals, ages 21-40, "who have given back to the community, showed leadership, and helped in many ways to make the area a great place to live and work."

The Herald Times Reporter will share profiles of each of the 15 winners in this series. The profile is provided by The Chamber of Manitowoc County.

Kelly Wilfert, Investors Community Bank

Kelly Wilfert

Kelly is a full-time college and law student and has been awarded a full merit scholarship to the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she was recently named Best Brief Finalist (top four of 150 in her class) for her legal writing. 

This past summer, Kelly accepted a full-time position in Investors Community Bank’s Legal Department. 

The Manitowoc County organizations she has been involved with include: Manitowoc County Farm Bureau, 4-H, Mishicot FFA Alumni, Progress Lakeshore and The Chamber. 

She has taken leadership roles in the Manitowoc County Farm Bureau, including serving on the board of directors and also helped lead the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center Exhibit Development Committee and was a state FFA officer representing northeastern Wisconsin. She looks forward to the move home to become more involved in the community.
