Professor Cecelia Klingele of the University of Wisconsin Law School has been named one of Wisconsin Law Journal's Up and Coming Lawyers for 2013.

According to Wisconsin Law Journal, "Honorees chosen for this award are on the fast track to making a significant impact on the legal profession. They represent determination — in legal work, in community betterment or in improving their own firms."

Klingele ’05 and Professor Byron Lichstein ’03, also of UW Law School, are the only law professors to have received the award since it originated in 2009. Lichstein received the award in 2010.

Besides Klingele, seven other UW Law School alumni are among this year’s honorees:

Mark Dahlby ’05 – Hall, Render, Killian, Heath & Lyman, P.C.
Ruhee Divgi ’07 – Quarles & Brady, LLP
Kevin Henry ’11 – Eustice, Laffey, Sebranek & Auby, S.C.
Nicole Masnica ’10 – Wisconsin State Public Defender's Office, Waukesha Trial Division
Katherine Rist ’05 – Foley & Lardner, LLP
Hannah Schieber ’11 – Wisconsin State Public Defender's Office, Appellate Division
Tyler Wilkinson ’11 – Axley Brynelson, LLP

Award recipients will be recognized at a ceremony scheduled for September 26 at Milwaukee's Harley-Davidson Museum.
