A sports law symposium, slated for April 9 at University of Wisconsin Law School, has been organized by law students in the Sports and Entertainment Law Society.

SELS, a student organization based at the Law School, planned the symposium to give students an opportunity to learn about careers in sports law. Presenters will also discuss current legal issues confronting the sports world, such as pay for college athletes, drug testing policies, NCAA eligibility standards, concussions and other health risks, and more.

The event brings together lawyers, agents, athletic directors, compliance officials, professors and sports executives, many of whom are UW Law School alumni. Panelists include:
