Sarah joined the Office of Career and Professional Development Office in June 2013, following an eight-year career as a litigator in Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP's Los Angeles and Palo Alto offices. At Gibson, Sarah focused on class action and securities litigation, and she was heavily involved in the firm's recruiting program and diversity efforts. In addition to practicing law, Sarah also taught high school at Dorsey High School in Los Angeles. She developed and implemented English Language Arts curriculum, taught English to 9th, 10th, and 12th graders, and coached Dorsey's Mock Trial team.
Sarah graduated magna cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2002. Sarah was a member of the San Diego Law Review, a peer academic tutor, and a Public Interest Grant recipient. Sarah was admitted to the California Bar in 2002, and she is also admitted to various federal courts throughout the state of California. Prior to law school, Sarah attended Northwestern University, where she studied theater. She performed in various campus productions and was a member and director of Melodious Thunk, Northwestern's original a cappella group.
