Jeremy supervises six LAIP students who work directly with clients to resolve a variety of legal issues stemming from their incarceration. Jeremy's students have successfully resolved outstanding warrants, detainers, and fines as well as filed motions for sentence credit and sentence modification in Wisconsin Circuit courts.

Jeremy Newman is a 2012 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School. As a law student,Jeremy participated in the Legal Assistance to Institutionalized Persons (LAIP) program. Before joining the Remington Center as an LAIP Clinical Instructor of Law in May 2012, Jeremy worked as a summer law clerk for Federal Defender Services of Wisconsin, Inc. and as a judicial intern to the Honorable Barbara B. Crabb in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. Additionally, Jeremy participated in the Law School's externship program where he worked in the Wisconsin Department of Justice's Environmental Protection Unit.
