Biography
John Strange is an Assistant City Attorney for the City of
Madison. He received his undergraduate
degree from DePauw University, and his law degree with honors from the
Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.
Mr. Strange previously worked as a Children's Court
Improvement Coordinator at the Wisconsin Supreme Court; as a County Attorney in
Wake County, North Carolina; and as a civil litigator in private practice in Raleigh,
North Carolina. He has handled a wide variety of civil litigation matters,
including employment discrimination, civil rights, child welfare, workers'
compensation, contract disputes, personal injury, and municipal and
governmental litigation.
Mr. Strange has taught Legal Research & Writing at Samford and the University of Wisconsin. He is admitted to practice in North Carolina and Wisconsin.
