Biography

Nicholas J. McNamara, who practices in the Madison office of Habush Habush & Rottier, received his undergraduate degree in philosophy from the University of Iowa in 1987, Phi Beta Kappa, and his juris doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1993. In law school, he received the University League Award for exceptional student service and scholarship. While in college, he was selected for a Fulbright Scholarship and studied for one year at the Eberhard Karls Universitat Tubingen in Germany.

Before joining Habush Habush & Rottier, Mr. McNamara was a law clerk to the Honorable Susan R. Steingass, Dane County Circuit Court.

Mr. McNamara is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, Dane County Bar Association, and the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers. He was certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in 2000.
