Biography

Peter Moreno is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Law School's Remington Center and teaches students in the Wisconsin Innocence Project. He is Co-Chair of the Police and Prosecutor Relations Committee of the Wisconsin Innocence Project Advisory Board. He recently helped secure over $1 million in federal grant funding to support the Wisconsin Innocence Project's continuing mission to correct and prevent wrongful convictions.

He has co-authored Innocence Network amicus briefs for the Wisconsin Supreme Court and U.S. Supreme Court regarding the use of forensic science and medical testimony in criminal proceedings. His research focuses on the admission of forensic reporting at trial, levels of certainty in forensic conclusions, and expectations of privacy in online communications.
