Biography
Rhoda J. Ricciardi received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, magna cum laude, and received her law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School where she earned the American Jurisprudence Award in Criminal Law. She is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Federal Bar for the Western District of Wisconsin, and both the Sauk County and Dane County Bar Associations.
Since her graduation from law school, Attorney Ricciardi has practiced exclusively with the State Public Defender Trial Office, in both Sauk and Dane Counties. In her capacity as an Assistant State Public Defender trial attorney, she has had extensive trial and pretrial experience, representing clients in homicide, felony, and misdemeanor cases, and civil mental commitment hearings. She is a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Law School, and currently teaches a course in trial advocacy.
