Biography

Susan Collins is a senior vice president and fiduciary law senior counsel for Associated Bank, where she provides legal advice to management and staff on personal trust and other fiduciary matters. Before joining Associated, she was in-house counsel at BMO Harris Bank and a partner at Boardman Law Firm, LLP, in Madison, focusing her practice on estate and gift planning and estate administration.

Before entering law school, Ms. Collins worked as a journalist and as an editor. Her editing experience includes work as a manuscript editor for the State Bar of Wisconsin CLE Books. She also served as a legal writing specialist at Valparaiso School of Law.

Ms. Collins earned an M.A. in English Literature and a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she served as Senior Note & Comment Editor for the Wisconsin Law Review.
