Biography

Terry F. Peppard practices as an arbitrator and mediator for a wide range of business and commercial disputes. He's been a member of the board of directors of the Section of Alternative Dispute Resolution of the State Bar of Wisconsin (2000-06), and, in 2002-03, he served as chair of the Section. Rated "AV Preeminent" by the Martindale Hubbell peer review system and listed among The Best Lawyers in America for the practice of dispute resolution, Mr. Peppard has taught arbitration and mediation theory and practice to law students, attorneys and professional trade associations.

In 2000-01, Mr. Peppard represented the American Bar Association's Central and Eastern European Law Initiative (ABA-CEELI) in consulting on arbitration and mediation program development for the Romanian Ministry of Justice and its Institute for Magistrates, as well as for that country's national bar association and national chamber of commerce. In 2006 he authored a reference text, Arbitration and Mediation of Business Disputes: A Wisconsin Practitioner's Guide, published by the State Bar of Wisconsin (CLE Books), now in its third edition.
Mr. Peppard is co-winner of the State Bar of Wisconsin's Charles Dunn Author Award for 2008, given in honor of excellence in legal writing, for an article published in the June 2008 issue of The Wisconsin Lawyer magazine entitled "Mediating Complex Construction Claims Cases."
