Karen Timberlake, J.D. Director of the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute
Karen Timberlake, J.D. is Director of the Population Health Institute at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and an Associate Professor in the Department of Population Health Sciences. She served as Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) from April 2008 through the end of 2010. Before joining DHS, she served as the Director of the Wisconsin Office of State Employment Relations and was an assistant attorney general with the Wisconsin Department of Justice. Ms. Timberlake received a BA from Indiana University and a JD from Harvard Law School.
