Course Description

Presenting to a Court is different from writing or talking to clients, or even other attorneys, about the law and your positions.  This course teaches students how to effectively advocate to courts at all levels, both in written and oral communications.  Students will have the opportunity both to draft submissions to a court, in a hypothetical case, in the form of both dispositive and nondispositive motions and supporting materials.  Students will be given the opportunity to orally advocate their positions as well.
