University of Wisconsin Law School's Moot Court team won first place in the 2013 National Criminal Procedure Moot Court Tournament, sponsored by the Appellate Moot Court Board of the University of San Diego Law School.
Grant Turpin and Kaitlin Kelly, both second-year law students, represented UW Law School in the competition. They worked with coach Britta Sahlstrom, a third-year UW law student, and Professor Adam Stevenson, who served as their faculty advisor.
"We were honored to represent UW Law School at the National Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition in San Diego, and thrilled to win the tournament. We are extremely appreciative for all the guidance and support we received from the faculty and students," Turpin said.
