The annual Wisconsin International Law Journal Symposium is slated for March 13 at University of Wisconsin Law School.

This year’s event, "International Law Walks the Line: Border Disputes in the 21st Century," will explore how international borders are a front line in current international conflicts, and how current and future international legal regimes will attempt to resolve border conflicts.

Lea Brilmayer, the Howard M. Holtzmann Professor of International Law at Yale Law School, will deliver the keynote presentation, “International Boundary Disputes in the 21st Century: Victims, Villains and Third States’ Violations.”

WILJ, a quarterly publication established in 1982, features articles by scholars on international law and by law students. Each spring, the journal organizes and hosts its symposium on recent topics of interest in international law.

The symposium takes place in Room 2260 of the Law School from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public, but advance registration is requested. CLE credit for Wisconsin attorneys is pending.
