Charles Schudson is a former trial and appellate judge, law professor, and Fulbright scholar. He has made many public appearances, including on PBS, NPR, and before the Senate Judiciary Committee. He is the coauthor (with Billie Wright Dziech) of the book On Trial: America’s Courts and Their Treatment of Sexually Abused Children (Beacon, 1991) and the author of Independence Corrupted: How America’s Judges Make their Decisions (University of Wisconsin Press, 2018).
