Part-time Discussion Leaders Wanted -- Small Study Group of International Master’s Students (LL.M-LI).
• Pay: $17.679/hr.
• Average time Commitment – approximately 5 hours per week.
• Deadline to apply: February 7 (depending on availability, may consider late applicants).
We are looking for capable J.D. 2L / 3L students currently enrolled in one of the courses listed below to act as leaders of small study groups for LL.M-L.I. students.
You will meet with a group of 3-6 LL.M-LI students once or twice each week during the semester to review the material and assist with questions they have.
Note: all of these LL.M-LI students already have a law degree obtained from their home country and usually have a fairly strong knowledge of the law in their own jurisdictions. They are not trained in U.S. law, so they will need assistance in understanding the rules/content in US-based law courses.
Qualifications
- Friendly, able to communicate the material in simple terms to non-native speakers of English;
- Preference will be given to J.D. 2L / 3L students currently taking one of the courses listed below (however, if you have already taken one of these courses earlier with the SAME instructor, we encourage you to apply).
