"Where Taiwan Stands" featuring Professor Emeritus Edward Friedman, Department of Political Science, University of Wisconsin–Madison.

In this lecture, Professor Friedman will share his observations on where Taiwan stands in the world. He will discuss U.S. policy towards Taiwan, cross-strait relations, current Hong Kong protests, as well as Taiwan’s democracy and upcoming elections. Professor Friedman is an expert on Chinese foreign policy, U.S. relations with Asia, Taiwanese politics, international political economy, and democratization.
