Attorney Dean Strang and Professor Keith Findley will discuss their experiences in the criminal justice system, particularly in the areas of criminal defense and exonerations. Topics of discussion will include vulnerabilities in the criminal justice system that allow for the conviction of innocent defendants, as well as what individual attorneys can do in the face of these weaknesses.

Catie White, a third-year law student and former Wisconsin Innocence Project student will moderate the panel.

The panel is sponsored by the Public Interest Law Foundation, with the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, as part of Community Justice Week.
