Professor Marcella David is the Betty T. Ferguson Visiting Professor at Florida State University College of Law. Professor Mark Sidel, UW Law School, will host her presentation.

About Professor David:
Marcella David joined the Florida State University College of Law in 2017. Before coming to FSU, she was a law professor, provost and vice president of academic affairs at the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Previously, David was an associate dean and professor of law and international studies at the University of Iowa College of Law. She has also visited at the University of Chicago School of Law, where she taught Contracts and Equal Protection, and at the University of Pennsylvania.

Before entering academia, Professor David clerked for Judge Louis H. Pollak, of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and was a litigation associate at the New York law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison. Her research interests include the use of economic and other sanctions, international criminal law and questions related to international organizations.
