Each year, the UW Law Library celebrates National Library Week by putting on a series of events, giveaways and workshops for faculty, staff and students. We hope you can join us for any of the events listed below. And as always, if you have any research questions (or just questions in general), just ask us!

Monday, April 8th: Book Giveaway at the Law Library Entrance - Stop by and see if you can find a great new book (a treatise, a fiction book, or general nonfiction, we have it all!)

Thursday, April 11: Trivia Contest in the Atrium (from 5:30-6:30) - Join the Law Library as we play some (non-law) trivia. We'll have free pizza, Amazon gift cards, and of course, the company of the Law Library!

All week - Make your own READ Poster - Students and staff are welcome to visit the Circulation desk, grab their favorite book and some props and make a beautiful literary poster. It's free and you get your own copy either in print or digitally (or both)!

All week - Guess the M&Ms game! - Stop by our Reference Desk and take a guess at how many delicious candies there are in the jar. The student that is closest will win...the candy! Yum!

What are UW Law Faculty and Staff Reading Guide - Available now! Check out some great book recommendations from faculty and staff from all across the building.

Finally, one of the Law Library's favorite traditions is our annual Faculty READ poster that we hang around the library. The Law Library has been creating the READ posters since 2006, and you can see our entire collection online here. Our newest addition is our very own Law Library Director, Bonnie Shucha. Her poster will soon be put on display near the entrance of the Law Library.

Happy National Library Week!
