UW Law students at the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competitio

First-year UW Law students Juan Fonseca Angel, Gibson Hatch and Patric Reinbold represented the Space Law Society in the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition, hosted by the International Institute of Space Law.

Nineteen teams competed this year at the competition held at the Georgetown University Law Center. This is the first time a team has represented UW Law School at the competition. Students also had the opportunity to network with the judges, who are professors and practitioners in the space law industry.

The Space Law Society aims for UW to be a continuing presence at the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition for years to come.
