Nina Neff & daughter Emma

Two UW Law students received Outstanding Adult Students Scholarships and Awards, hosted by UW-Madison’s Adult Career and Special Student Services program this spring.

Nina Neff received the Joe and Barbara Weston Corry Scholarship, which supports students who are single parents. A rising third-year law student, Neff is president of QLAW, senior program editor of the Wisconsin International Law Journal, and a member of the Moot Court team. Neff serves as a judicial intern for Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Shirley Abrahamson and as a summer associate at Dewitt Law Firm's Madison office. She is the proud parent of a 6-year-old daughter, Emma.

Amy Harriman, also entering her third year at UW Law, received the Returning Adult Scholarship. Harriman is a double Badger, having graduated from UW–Madison in 2007 with majors in political science and art. During the seven-year gap between completing her undergraduate degree and law school, she worked in both houses of the Wisconsin legislature. She is serving the law school community as the vice president of professional development for the Women’s Law Student Association and was elected senior note and comment editor for the Wisconsin International Law Journal.
