The Restorative Justice Project (RJP) was created in 1987 to serve harmed parties in the aftermath of serious crimes.
Through our Restorative Justice Dialogue program, we offer the opportunity for harmed parties and their relatives to meet with and have questions answered by the responsible party who committed a crime against them.
Restorative Justice Dialogue Program
In the past decade alone, we have facilitated over 100 Restorative Justice Dialogues, and served more than 200 harmed parties in this process.
Community Engagement
We are committed to evolving the criminal justice system and serving the community. This includes engaging with the Dane County community and beyond to transform justice, developing alternatives to the traditional legal system, promoting restorative practices, and reducing racial disparity in the criminal justice system.
