Suggested Reading
If you are interested in background reading on the American legal system and the legal profession, we recommend the paperback book: The United States Legal System, by Margaret Z. Johns and Rex R. Perschbacher (2d ed. Carolina Academic Press 2007). Chapter 3 in particular is helpful in summarizing key concepts relating to the structure of the federal and state governments and the judicial processes.

We look forward to seeing you!
